Vanuatu

About

The Republic of Vanuatu won its independence in 1980 from France and the United Kingdom. The country is comprised of about 82 newly developed islands Northeast of Australia. Many of these islands were birthed by volcanic eruption. Their economy thrives on tourism and agricultural resources. Vanuatu’s national language is Bislama, while the country’s official languages are Bislama, English and French. The principal education languages remain English and French.
