About

The African, Carribean, and Pacific Group of States was formed through the Georgetown agreement in 1975. It currently has 79 countries, consisting of 48 African countries, 16 Caribbean countries, and 15 Pacific countries. The focus of the ACP is to establish sustainability in poverty-stricken and economically strained states. The ACP provides consultation and devises and implements national development strategies across all member states
