Having emigrated from England to Australia on his 21st birthday, the opportunity for Anthony Copping to fulfil his boyhood dream of visiting the South Pacific presented itself in the late 1980s. Soon after his arrival in Sydney, there was a coup in Fiji and as a consequence, the price of air tickets plummeted. He had to go.
